Anyone know a good way to preview the different options for guild anthems?
You would expect them to play once when you buy them from the NPC, but no…

So I went googling and the best thing I could find was an old that_shaman datamine video that has the anthems but not with the actual ingame names.

Maybe some content creator or Anet should get on this or is there something obvious I’m missing?

Anyone?
How did you choose your anthem?

It plays after you select it from the NPC.

Yes, when you ‘purchase’ it from the NPC it plays and the last you you purchased automatically becomes the anthem. Since a purchase is free, there isn’t really a need for a ‘preview’ just keep changing it at your own free will.

Also note that you need your guild rank to have the permissions to change the guild anthem.

A preview button would still be nice so people do not end up changing it just from checking the choices. It would also mean that anyone could preview but changing requires the permission.

Huh… I swear I couldn’t hear anything when buying from the NPC. I even made sure to turn on the ingame music. And when I put a hero banner up for testing I heard it just fine…
Anyway, thanks for the replies.

It does seem a bit quiet.

The volume is controlled by the Music Volume slider. At my normal volume setting I have no problem hearing the game’s music but the anthems are just barely audible.
