The revived Lion’s Arch currently has multiple locations for various key services, such as crafting stations, Bankers, Black Lion Traders and various guild service NPCs.

Unfortunately, the Guild Bank NPC is not one of them. There is only a single Guild Banker in Lion’s Arch, and he’s tucked away in the Vigil Chapterhouse (southeast of the WvW asura gates).

This is extremely inconvenient, as the Guild Banker is now not located right next to a Banker (like all other major cities offer, including pre-Scarlet Lion’s Arch). Additionally, there is currently no Guild Banker near the Mystic Forge either (although there is a regular Banker).

My suggestion is to add a few Guild Bank NPCs to Lion’s Arch, preferable near locations that already have multiple Bank NPCs. This should include Canal Ward at the very least, but preferably also Mystic Plaza and Farshore Ward.
Additionally, please move the Guild Bank NPC at Fort Marriner closer to the Bank and Black LionTrader NPCs there.

Wow! This was posted 9 months ago?… and it appears nothing has changed! I second this! More guild banks needed in Lion’s Arch please! (I found this by Googling the topic, so sorry if it’s discussed elsewhere. This is what came up in Google.)

It’s probably deliberate to scatter people over different cities. Before this, almost everyone was in LA and the racial cities were deserted.

Now Charr’s and Norn’s capitals are deserted due to lack of events and living story…
Also they’re too far from the popular maps that it’ll cost more money to WP.

Why would you even think about paying to wp to a home city?

divinitys reach has bank, guild bank and a tp right next to eachother.

on another note you can enter the pvp lobby from ANYWHERE in the world to get access to a free (no wp cost) TP as well as bank. and when you exit the lobby youll get back in the spot you entered it from. This works with entering WvW as well tho the pvp lobby has them more closer packed.

And people think anet wants to force people in buying summon tp/merc/bank consumables :P

Popular map as to Teq, Silver Waste, and Karka.
You have to pay more if you WP from Charr or Norn’s homeland.

The bank/trading post/guild bank area in Rata Sum is full of people now as well as Divinities Reach bank area. I also see more people in both the Sylvari and Charr cities now, certainly more than before when they were almost deserted. The only one where I don’t see as many people is the Norn area. So I would say either it was deliberate or it’s an unintended consequence that they like and so they don’t intend to change by altering the LA guild bank location.

I still base most of my characters in LA at Postern Ward because almost all the facilities, except the guild-related ones, are located there and because LA is in a fairly central location. The locations I visit the most are the Silverwastes (chest farm and defense/breach/VW/sometimes labyrinth) and Sparkfly Fen (Tequatl, twice an evening on different characters), and with guild discounts it only costs 3s to get to Camp Resolve and 2.3s to get to Splintered Coast.

The tip about PvP lobby is very helpful. I already knew you could get to LA for free by going to Heart of the Mists and using the Asura gate, but I didn’t know (not being a PvP enthusiast) that bank and TP are available there and that you can return to your previous location from the PvP lobby after doing your banking and merching.

Go to the traders forum and talk with the guild registration guy, he has an option to open the guild bank.

Me neither. On the other hand, most people probably do know about the option to create a personal storage guild, which I did the other day. This new tip will be helpful for that as well.
