Guild Wars 2

It’s almost 2 years now and we haven’t hear any news about guild hall/housing info and don’t forget GvG. Guild missions are ruined by the so call Megaservers, tons of trolling etc… So what is the point of guild when 99% of this game is soloable, even dungeons.

Uhhhh… to have fun with friendly people?

we are currently trying to combine all the talk on guild halls and player owned houses into one thread (atleast i am) called “new building skill and player owned houses” take a look at that and leave your comments

I don’t think it will happen. It looks like Anet decided that the 2 most important things that defined GW1 (GvG and Guild Halls) will not be a part of GW2.

The interview where the Anet person just evade the question like GvG is nothing important kinda hint at this. Let’s just hope I’m wrong.

I don’t remember ANet saying anything about adding housing, player or guild. So how is it late?

The only thing you can expect in this game is more LS and more crap in the gem store. Everything else in the game will stay exactly as is. That is except for the few things they pull out of the stupid ideas hat just to mess with the player base. This game is an experiment to see how far they can push people and still get their money. So don’t expect anything that was good from GW1 as that is part of the pushing people thing- see how bad they can trash an IP and still get your moneys.

Also such things would be at the very end of a long list of things they “need” to add. Precursor crafting, new legendaries, nerfing OP warrior into the ground, more dungeons, easier dungeon paths, “fixing” the “broken” economy, and nerfing combat, the TP, gold and minis.

Yeah, this. I seem to recall that a Dev somewhere (maybe the horizontal progression CDI?) said that housing/guild halls were not even on the horizon.

ye, guilds are a joke in guild wars 2. almost every mmorpg i have ever played and even the horrible ones had a better guild system than this game. let’s see if ANET does anything about it.
