Hello people

I know the title is a bit odd but i just don’t know how to phrase it easier :p I just had a little.. idea kind of in terms of guild donations. As the donation tab only shows what you have in your inventory & what the guild needs. Now my question is: Is it possible to add a way to look at your storage table (in bank) so you can retrieve the materials without having to remember which ones you need and get them from the scribe table. As my memory is quite horrible, i’ll freely admit that and i’m sure i’m not the only one. And Adding an option to look at your material tab would help a lot..

I can suggest 2 “solutions”:

1. Add a storage tab so you can compare what you have & what the guild needs (screenshot of +- what i mean)

2. In the “items to donate” list maybe you can list the items the guild needs & that you can offer like for example if your guild needs mithril ingots & you have mithril ingots in your storage that you don’t need to get it out of your storage but that the amount of mithril ingots that you have appears in the list of “items to donate”

Just so donating to Guild Hall is more userfriendly for us forgetful people (and yes it’s hard for me to remember like 5-7 items. So now i either need to take a screenshot & compare like that but when your guild is bigger than you won’t be able to fit all the items you need in one screenshot. I hope Anet would be willing to look at this and maybe see if this is a possible feature or not.

You’ve worded it just fine and it’s such an obvious and tedious problem it’s amazing it was released this way. Option #2 has been suggested before and it’s a good one. The guild treasurer SHOULD look in your material storage without you having to move stuff around to make it easy for him.

+1 for this suggestion.

Unless you use a bank access, trying to donate means remembering or writing down what you want to donate, running to your bank to get the items, running back to the treasurer. It’s a poorly designed system and adding your bank tab to him (or moving him to beside the bank in the guild area so you can have both panels open) is badly needed.

I’m not sure if the suggestions would really be implemented for a while. While it is extremely inconvenient, once you open up the Scribe table in the guild hall, you can just keep both windows open all the time. The Treasurer window will stay open at all times – no matter how far away you go from him – as you walk around the guild hall. This allows you to run to the Scribe station and use the storage tab there. Before getting Scribe it was stupid, yes. However, once you have the scribe station you can just have the two seperate windows open.

Thank you Allisondellue, for bringing up the fact the the Treasurer donation window will stay open no matter how far you go from the Treasurer.(within the guild hall) But you still need a scribing station to get bank access. (The scribing stationcomes with Workshop 1, right?)

Not just the treasurer. Any of the NPCs that bring up that window will work.

I usually write down the stuff that is necessary for the next upgrade in the guild’s MotD.

It would also be nice if the Treasurer hides donations that are already completed or lets you sort by completion percentage so we can tell what still needs donating at a glance.

Alright the fact that the donation window stays open is a good hint altho it still requires 2 npc’s while it could’ve been more convenient :/ But I guess i’ll have to do with that (it’s better than how i used to) but i wouldn’t mind if Anet would implement one of those 2 options so you can donate even if you’re in a rush to get offline (as sometimes i don’t have too much time because i need to get ready for a world boss like Teq or TT and that little bit of time can help a lot :p
