lol, I was just wondering…

Husband and I run a guild where only he and myself are members. We want, and are will be getting a Guild Hall. If not for any other reason than, I get to get away from the nightmare-ish map chat I consistently run into. That’s why I had a GW 1 guild, for 7 years, lol.

How many of us are getting a GH just to have some place that is completely ours just to have peace, quiet and no interruptions?

I use to be a Ritualist and a Paragon in my former life…

Turn map chat off… easier than getting a Guild Hall. Then you can enjoy the rest of the content GW2 has to offer without reading the nightmare-ish map chat you run into.

Idk if it will be worth it for a 1 or 2 person guild. You’ll need to clear the area out and you’ll need to pay for supply for guards and support staff then drive out the mordrem.
On the other hand, just registering your guild will give you in instance in Lions Arch to go to away from everyone else. If all you want is to get away from map chat, this might be good enough.

Once your guild is registered with the Guild Initiative, you’ll gain access to their new headquarters in Lion’s Arch. We’ve used new technology to make the Guild Initiative Headquarters an instance that is shared by you and your guild members. While the Initiative Headquarters is not a full guild hall, it will provide access to existing features that we’re moving out of the guild panel for those guilds that do not upgrade to the expansion.”

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.
