I was curious if anyone had any information on what kind of rewards non guilded players receive for participating in guild missions they stumble upon?

It works like this
1. In a guild, representing that guild, on that guilds home server, and participating in the event – 50 silver 2 rares 2 commendations

2. Anything else – dynamic event reward only.
If you guest at all; dynamic event reward only.
If you are not in that guild; dynamic event reward only.
If you are in the guild but are not representing; dynamic event reward only.

… that’s great, it’s like WoW back when you needed a 40 man to raid things and pugs were not allowed

Some people like a small circle of friends they know well. Some like a large group of friends with more casual relationships. I personally like my small group of good friends. As such, my guild is unable to do this content.

While I don’t like it, there are ways around it. You have to find a large guild that will let you join just for mission. In my search I found many guild require 100% rep on all characters, this is not an option for me. So I found a guild that will let me rep only during guild mission. The only requirement is that I buy them some karma. A fair enough tradeoff.

While I’d love to be able to do this content with my good friends, that just isn’t possible. This is large guild content. So it’s either join a large guild or don’t do the content. I’ve bitten the bullet, but if you find a guild that is cool with not repping 100% it’s not so bad.

So this is pointless for non guilded. Gated content. The first content that has requirement.

Whats the incentive for passerbys to participate when the reward is crap? This doesnt help small guilds

we’ve had non-guildies join us for battles. it’s really only if they happen to be near one of the fights, they join in for the exp and karma. They dont join us for the rest of the bounty mission, and they’re usually gone by the time we go to invite them to the guild so they can join in with the rest of it.
