Guild Wars 2

I know that adding a way to see guildies on the map for everything has been suggested before (with a visibility toggle) and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen, so I was hoping to persuade the devs to think about adding member dots on the mini map during Guild Missions.

The Guild Message of the Day should also appear in the chat box upon log in. Heck, even my Custom Arena shows the MotD in the chat box.

Guilds in general need more love in the options department. I know that you guys are slowly rolling some of this stuff out, and I appreciate that. Thanks.

Anet already implemented what you asked for.

if it is for WvW then can you explain why i can purchase a commander tag in Divinitys reach, and why its available outside WvW at all???

Well the thing is with a commander tag everyone can see you and comes to join. So using a commander tag when doing guild missions can confuse other non guild members. I tried this once. Ended up having every single soul in the map chasing me during the guild mission.

Kinda different but what I think would be cool is if Guild members where just a different colour on the mini map like the colour of a fellow guild members name.

why this isnt in the game already i have no idea, maybe becuase of the size of some guilds somehow, just have a 20man cap on it or something :C

I’d love an option to “always show guild members on map”. Similar to all the dots in WvW, except maybe gold colored. Seems like it would be easy to implement, ..just rip off what WvW already has and narrow its criteria from “everybody on your side” to “guild members”.
