Guild Wars 2

Man, I just made a guild and spent a lot of energy and resources unlocking guild perks before starting to recruit. My guild tag is the abbreviation of the guild, which ended up being [DEA].

For the life of me I’m not sure why it did not occur to me that this is also the abbreviations for the united states ‘drug enforcement agency’…

People chuckle at my tag and it’s been hard to recruit bc of it.

I wish there was an easy way to change a tag or guild name completely.

Am I the only one that would like this feature?

actually I agree.but.i kinda like DEA though….at least it meant something in real life…like a police workforce or something cool….plyrs mostly have guilds now so the only way to recruit real plyrs now is .either wait for new expansion or after beta trial when new massive plyrs join the game…good luck….

While I’m happy with most of the guild (names) I’m in, I’d love for this feature so we could fix spelling mistakes. Every time I look at some I just cringe.

Support will change guild names in some cases, where the name breaks TOS. You could contact them and self report, see if they will consider that as breaking TOS. However they choose the new name and you don’t get a choice.
