Guild Wars 2

I checked several names today and some still happened to be reserved for people with linked Guild Wars 1 accounts.
Any idea as to when these will be made available?

I’m wondering this to. It was supposed to be a day after release. Maybe the names are already taken and that error message needs to be updated.

I thought of that too, but when I tried to add them as friends it said that there was no player currently using that name.

I wondered why they were still locked, one of the names I desperately want is tide to my second GW1 account and since there is no way to link more than one account to your GW2… you see where I’m going with this. -.-

It would be nice if ArenaNet could update us on this. I am waiting on a name that still says it is reserved (not taken, unless the error message is bugged).

Definitely am wondering the same thing, TONS of names I want but can’t because of the same error message.

Probably it got pushed back to the bottom of their ToDo lists because of the bugs, glitches, and what not happening in the game. I’m sure it will be “released” when things settle down and they can start doing the less important stuff like GW1 reserved names.
