In order to get the HoM points you only need Prophecies and Eye of the North right? Not Factions or Nightfall.

You need eye of the north plus any standalone game. Meaning Eotn + prophecies, factions or nightfall.

You need either Factions, Prophecies, or Nightfall along with Eye of the North to earn points yes. However, if you want to earn 30 or 50 points, you’ll need all 3 plus EotN. Even earning 10 points might be difficult with just one campaign.

If you just plan on getting 1 base campaign your best choice would be Nightfall

because you can get at least 6 points with hero armor i think with the nightfall heroes
there are also more titles in the nightfall campaign
and its easier to play with heroes since there arent that many players in the game active all the time anymore
so you wont always find a player group for missions you do

if you have the money i recommend buying all 3 campaigns + addon though

The trilogy is only like 10$ more. May as well get them all.

Though you only NEED one base game and Eye of the North (ie Platinum Edition), it’s a lot easier to get points and play with the full game.

That opens up all the skills to you, the hero MOX which can instantly be put into the hall for a point, and access to all the heroes rather than just 10 with Eye of the North (two of which are very hard to get with limited skills). You also get access to more titles with all of the games, which makes filling in Honor much easier.

It’s a lot easier with all games. Prophecies is the best btw.
