Guild Wars 2

Hello all been having some crazy things go on with the game after updating to the 64 bit client. Running Windows Home Premium 64 and the game Minimizes when loading, clicking the market or even my inventory, or mapping to any other region of the game. Is any one else having this issue or not? Really am at odds with this game now because of it. Makes the game mostly unplayable and having to click the task bar to open it again is troublesome, really can’t not understand why this is taking place. nVidia Driver 372.90 WHQL but this does not seem to be why it has something to do with the game clicks and other things in the 64 bit client. Anyone?? Ideas??

I’ve been using the 64bit version almost since it was available. Haven’t had that problem. On the other hand what you have described has happened before while using the 32bit client (others have had the same problem before). Never figured out the exact cause but the mostly likely cause is some other app stealing focus. Tracking it down would be tricky but there is a program(that I don’t remember the name of) which tracks window focus events.

I had a similar issue years ago caused by nVidia’s ?Gameworks? (not the driver… the add-on app that “enhances” your gaming experience… similar to AMD’s Raptr). I couldn’t solve it without uninstalling the app. Some anti-virus apps did the same thing too, but I’ve noticed a “game mode” setting with mine, which presumably is to avoid focus stealing.
