Q:

Hello,
I’ve Started studying graphic designing & 3d animation modeling, and i was wondering what programs are being used/ were used to create guild wars 2?

So if anyone knows and can give me some insight on the subject it would be very helpful,
I’m just curious that’s all.

I can’t tell you exactly what tools the artists at ArenaNet use, however in general you’d probably find zbrush and Maya / 3DS Max are very commonly used in the Games Industry…

I ve been using it to port/modify… models for Oblivion and Fallout games and while it probably doesnt have all the options and tools like the commercial stuff i think it is a good place to start.
