Good news. Finally. But it’s too far away!

Unless they do a 180 and make the base game be less bad in the coming year there’s no point even looking at an expansion. Pay money? For more of the same? No thanks. They’ve had time and time again with each update to show what’s important to them, and an expansion can only be a continuation of this game’s downward trajectory since launch.

In fact, I’ll copy and paste the exact portion of that article says why this may not be true.

“I’ve been following the statements put out by KDB Daewoo Securities for some time now, and they’re generally informative and accurate regarding the South Korea-based NCSoft’s plans. I say “generally” because one from early 2013 said that there would be a Guild Wars 2 expansion in the second half of 2013, and we can see how that prediction turned out.”

So yeah, I’ll wait till Anet says it themselves.

While I personally would be excited for an expansion, this is all speculation. The title of the article itself is even posing a question as to it being a possibility. You cant really say it’s confirmed unless Anet has actually confirmed it. Please change the title so people arent mislead by it.

Are you on the payroll? Seriously though, an expansion won’t hinder their monetary intake, IF ANYTHING it will increase it.

they better not make us delete our character , ive spend almost 1,000 $ on this ‘’ FREE ’’ to plat MMO , i really do enjoy the game , and i cant wait for the expansion , im getting bored with the same old Map , i didnt think we would have to pay for the rest of the map to be open , but i guess it is what it is ! i enjoy the game so i ill give it a shot ! i hope its not 50.00 when it first comes out , give us a lil break lol

This is the same old same old, it’s been posted so many times on every gaming site out the, they are getting there info from an investment firm that speculated NOT an official source. We need to wait for Saturday and get the real deal here.
