Guild Wars 2

So after GW2 was launched in China, I have read that they have somewhat modified version of the game.
Can anyone please tell what are the differences?

you’d be better off at looking through reddit. major difference is there’s more pay2win there.
They alos have more things locked behind levels. (jumping puzzles/insta death til lv10 etc)

“More” pay to win? There’s no pay to win here as it is. Unless, of course, they’re selling more powerful weapons and gear than you can reasonably get in the game in China, which I would find rather disappointing.

The Chinese government requires a Chinese publisher – A.Net could not self-publish the game. That said, they do have some differences in the game that players in China prefer – nothing wrong with that. It is what it is.

Look at ArcheAge, for example. We will be getting a totally different version than Korea and Russia currently have. The same was true with TERA.

First, that thread is 2 months old. Second, the second post is Colin commenting that most, if not all, of the information is incorrect.

There is a Mike O’Brien interview that explains the differences out there. That would probably be a better reference. =)
