I appreciate you posting this. I had not seen it. I know most people won’t care, but as a software developer I was always interested in some of the design and coding aspects of large scale, high budget AAA MMO projects.
Really neat getting to see this.

Ditto. I plan to set aside a block of time later tonight to watch this.
Interesting to see all the programming tools & work they put into the world they created :)
I’ve always heard that Seattle is a great place to work for software development.
Would recommend anyone who live in the west coast, who wants to be part of a software development company – to try their luck in Seattle.
Great place to live too! (been there a few times for bushiness trips, the Inn was nice and so were the people )

Np Man, although technically it wasn’t me who posted this, i only posted it here for others to see;)
even though I am not a developer I found it amazing to see how much work & Time goes on in the office and how time-consuming all of it is.
It has brought a new light to me :P
If only I lived in seattle
Can’t get any game developer Companies up here in Scotland (UK) :\
Development stuff is always an interesting read.
The patching is just insane imo, theres no downtime ever.I know from other mmo’s who like to have a 3hour maintenance,or introduce a new patch and shut down the servers for a couple of hours. The way Anet does this and keep the servers up and you basically only need to restart your game client to download the patch is incredible imo.
