More bosses, more mini dungeons, more DEs, more jumping puzzles. Those are expected next week as well.

They did have a Halloween preview page, a week ago, that had a paragragh at the end titled Tyria Evolving, stating those things I mentioned above. I think it was replaced by the current Halloween news.

And thats about as in depth as the write was- they are leaving a lot for surprise discovery, and probably some reveals on Monday.

The game has tons of PvE available, I wont argue whether or not it has more then MMO x or not but the game has only released and it has tons to do with plenty planned in the future. They have an entire team just for future content.

fyi, a PvP game fails to keep the majority entertained, causing the game to either die out or have a small, albiet dedicated, population. All but the hardcorest PvP players will eventually get bored of doing the same thing over and over.

A PvE game fails the PvP crowd, but the PvE population vastly outweighs that of PvP, so it’s a smaller blow. Failure to keep the PvE crowd entertained causes the game to look dead and affects both groups more so than the other way around.

Saying “it’s a PvP game” is actually a bad thing. To be truly successful, it must be a PvX game.

OP tells tre truth. Any game needs new content added if people are to continue playing it. Which is why all MMOs add new content periodically. As does GW. This is all common knowledge. What was the point again?

Fact 1: New content is going to be added.

Fact 2: The game has only been out 2 months.

Therefore there is no point to this thread.

there is more PvE content than PvP. Maybe you should rethink your assumption.

It’s an MMO not long after launch.

Of course new content is needed, and of course it is coming.

If they stick to the industry standard there will be small content updates every 4 months with a paid expansion every year or so. But there is plenty of incentive to keep playing by making more characters to replay the variations in the story and what not. But since there is no monthly fee those only interested in one character can do something else until the new content comes out and come back to GW2 for the new content.

Of course theres going to be new content, what do you think all the blank areas of the map are? For a fact theres going to be a Tengu area to the North West of Lions Arch because theres already a gate there that the guards wont let you through.

Whether or not its working, interesting content is more of an issue surely.

Expect new content in 2 days.

Lets break this down shall we.
I have a lvl 80 and a lvl 22.

My lvl 80 has a heap of dungeons to run yet for tokens and i havnt even TOUCHED pvp yet.

I also have a full time job and like other activities outside of my nerd den.

For people like me theres SOOO MUCH more content to still do and see, for no lifers like alot of people i see around the place that sit and play all day long, theres probably very little to see and do.

I used to be hardcore, now im not.
This game caters to people like me and i love it.
This game does not cater to people that have no job, its their problem, not mine.

How long would it need for people to rush through “new content” and be bored again, when they already rushed through the existing content and already bored yet?

I hate these kinds of threads… it’s like telling my cat will die if i stop feeding it. They already announced new content so why do people have this urge to post this stuff over and over again? It’s not like the game is OLD

I believe people should be banned for “GW2 will fail if…” posts.
