Guild Wars 2

Does anyone know if there are going to be holiday events like in most other games? Example: Halloween events, Christmas events ect..

Would really love to see these in guild wars 2! Sexy Halloween costumes anyone? XD

Well there were in GW1 so I see no reason they wouldn’t they wouldn’t be in GW2 as well.

A dev said that there will be. At least expect snowball fights since those were popular in GW1. BTW in GW is Wintersday not christmas.

Also on halloween we got the Mad King return quests!

As long as they have the resources to devote to making a Halloween event happen.

If they do, it will surely be great. I absolutely loved the holiday events in GW1. They were always very fun.

Mostly every MMO ever has some sort of Holiday event.

Im pretty sure I remember hearing a Dev mention that they had already done VO recording for Mad King Thorn so Id say Halloween is happening.

Oh yeah, I do remember them saying that they do VO work for Mad King Thorn. I am soooo excited for Halloween, can’t wait to see what Thorn is gonna do in GW2!

I’ve said it before but I really hope we get to see Thorn appear in his usual spot beside the fountain, then freak out because he’s underwater. Technically it would be inaccurate from a lore perspective since LA has been that way for more than a year, but since we weren’t there to see it before maybe they could come up with some reason he hasn’t come back to Tyria for a while so he doesn’t know.

Also I can’t imagine he’ll be happy that we can’t play music or do rock, paper, scissors any more, so that could be fun too.

I’m also looking forward to people who didn’t play GW1 meeting Thorn for the first time and seeing their reactions to his particular brand of fun.

Also, Birthday Presents! I really hope they award them, too bad we’ve got about a year to wait lol.
