Guild Wars 2

If you watch Shadowhunters on Netflix, you’ll find on the wall in Simon’s room a poster of Guild Wars: Eye of the North!
Simon is the nerdy accounting student smart mouth who, SPOILERS, becomes a vampire. It was very meta for me because I’m an accountant nerd who was playing Guild Wars 2 at that very moment split screen with Netflix. And I suppose I am a team vampire in a vampire/werewolf fight.

I’d seen that too. It made me chuckle.

Which reminds me… I think I recall spotting a GW2 strategy guide on a table during a recent episode of Silicon Valley.

There’s a reference to Guild Wars in the English dubbed episodes of Shin Chan.
