Don’t take me wrong, i love new arenas they look KITTEN SICK and amazing I fully support the idea, i just wish we could invest in DOUBLE resizing of arena. But since this is not the feature of current guild halls (you can only enlarge the empty gap area which is additional 250-300 range at most) we can say that this arenas are to small for GvGs.

Now that we’ve had first person and 3rd person camera, I can confirm our old topic of size prediction.Our guildie predicted it…

This arenas are size of 2500 + gaps which add max (2×300)range from one to other side in total 3100 range, to small for GvG of size 15v15 or bigger. Since enemy static can reach the other side easily without even blinking, this leaves us with very little area to move!

This could suit for 1v1s and maybe some “brawl” as Colin said, I’m definitely looking into 1v1/2v2/3v3/5v5s. But for 15v15+ this is way to small, and not viable for GvGs as ArenaNet promised. Sorry Colin Q_Q …

During the stream, the Devs stated that larger arenas were on the way, I believe.

Stronghold is suppose to be the new GvG mode , Arena’s is for brawls in your own guild. I might be wrong though but that is what I can gather

Stronghold is most definitely not for Guild Vs. Guild.

I do believe they said larger arenas come as an upgrade for guilds.

I really hope that one day that community will stop using the GvG term for those Blob vs Blob battles. This is a disgrace for what GvG once was.
