Guild Wars 2

I just noticed that one of the restrictions for a f2p account is they do not have Guild Bank access. My questions is this. What if they create the Guild? Before anyone asks let me say that yes, a free account can create a Guild and they can also upgrade architecture.

Sorry if this was already answered some where.

The restriction is in place to stop players moving items and gold off a free account – so they can’t be used by botters and gold sellers.

Allowing free accounts to access a guild bank if they make the guild would ruin that.

That’s fine and I understand the reason for them not being able to use a Guild bank, well up to a point anyways. My point is if they can’t access a Guild bank then why let them make a Guild.

I finally talked my friend into playing and neither of us noticed that he couldn’t access a Guild bank. He created a Guild to make it easier to pass things between his 2 characters without jamming up his warehouse. Now, after I have spent laurels to help him upgrade his architecture we both realize it was all for nothing.

Why not put a level restriction on it, like LA and WvW. Let them access it once they hit a certain level?

If your friend wants to use it make him buy the game that we all did. It’s Free to Play the whole game already now you want to give everything away? No thanx.

Free to play in a B2P game… And they want more…
