Is there only one upgrade for the guild hall music? Or are there more down the road? Currently my guild has the city themes thing.

Atm there is only the Guild Hall Music: City Themes music upgrade. But there was at the introduction another upgrade. Guild Hall Music: Maguuma Themes. You even could spend materials to the treasury, including Leaf Fossils and expensive Mordrem Lodestones. Later they removed this, including the already spend Lodestones in the treasury.
Maybe it wasn’t ready or something was broken with this upgrade or it’s an upgrade after you unlock the further exploration. Who knows, i hope the lodestones aren’t gone.

But even with the city themes music, there are some things eg you select music x and it plays the totally different music y.

I was wondering this myself. I thought there was a Maguuma Themes. I could’ve sworn I donated some stuff to our treasury for that even though we don’t have it built yet. When was this removed?

Also one of the blog posts mention guild anthems that play when you successfully complete guild missions. Yet those are nowhere now.
