Guild Wars 2

Hello. We have got the arena for guild halls and have a few probs with it. There isn’t any scoreboard or even a timer or anything. All it is is a ring where players in said ring can attack each other. It at least needs something a little more for the investment. The guild I am in has put a crap ton of gold forth just to get the arena and so far its been a huge disappointment. Also we are unable to invite other guilds to fight us in our new arena for GvG.

That’s exactly what they said it was supposed to be. It’s a place where people can be set on teams to attack each other. later you can put torches, traps, etc. to invent whatever scoring mechanisms.

Where did you get the idea there would be timers or built in scoring? They specifically said the point of the torches was so they could be used as scorekeeping devices or for whatever people wanted to use them for.

Yeah stop blotching!!! we got arenas to dual & stuff.

Is there an option to have our arenas use our PvP setups? Kinda seems odd to go in with PvE setups.

that’s the point of the arena. it’s for the WvW, GvG community.

if you want for PvP, just get a custom room.

ok well then if its for the gvg and wvw community, then how come can we not invite other players to come to our arena who are outside the guild. We cant do GvG because we cant invite another guild to our arena for a fight.

I haven’t tried yet but I remember reading that you can before.

“To invite someone to your hall, first invite them to your party or squad, enter the map yourself, and then have the other player enter either via the in world portal or via a waypoint if they have it unlocked”

One way I found that works is to invite other people into your guild temporary, after they got in Guild Hall, they can rep their own guild.

all you have to do is add them to your group. Then they can just walk or WP in. I’ve visited a lot of other people’s halls this way.

Lawl dont make me laugh. If it was for the gvg community it wouldnt be so horribly small. The guild hall is the size of an entire map with a load of water making that land space unusable and they couldnt just make the dam arena bigger to match the size of the obsidium sanctum?
