How will it work?
I am the leader of a small dungeon guild and only half of the players are on the same server. Does that mean the other half will never be able to enjoy guild missions on the worldmap?
Or if they can through guesting, can they even get their hands on the rewards?
Also, are there plans to have influence and upgrades shared between servers?
Guesting work as far as missions go as for the upgrades between servers I doubt it. Anet does not seem to think this is an issue. Obviously they want guilds to stay on one server (look how long guesting took).
