Guilds are assets, need to be treated as such
I sent a ticket about this, and the answer I got was to start a topic on the forums.
So as this topic was already started I am adding to it.
I feel this is some kind of exploit or scam or something like that (cant find the right word)
Someone that wasn’t even active come back and yay, HOT is nice, people has been actively working on the guild, made an awesome guild hall, with all the benefits it brings. Added new members, members feel good working as team with the leadership as it is really good and, and and… well, if is so good, why not keep it and kick every working officer that was there right? After all, as a returning member, I should have the right to keep what I used to like….
That should not happen. Now we are talking about time, effort, and even real money.
Before is something happened, you moved on to another guild, and well, miss some friends, miss stuff, but oh well, start over, move on.
Now. is not the same, the upgrades on a guild make a lot of difference on a game play and the whole GW2 player experience.
How would u feel if someone get their hands in ur wallet and steal your money?
Well isn’t this the same? A lot of gold (some of that gold bought with gems that cost money, money we work for in real life), some much effort and time, invested on this guilds now.
I do understand that anet customer support do not want to have a word on this, but there are cases and cases.
Ideas.
Leaders SHOULD NOT be able to kick leaders.
Leaders that fall inactive for xxxx period of time should be automatically demoted if there is other guild Leaders. If all guild leaders are inactive fall to next active officer in line.
I don’t know, just storming ideas, I believe this is the first time this happen after the expansion, but more will come, so I believe anet should be prepared for this and may be, hopefully, do something.
Just one question and that’s who??? Anet needs to ban this person immediately. Calling Chris Cleary!!!!!…. we need a hero on this one. This is just a seriously dishonorable attack upon good people and they need help.

And yes, this is even a consumer protection issue for Anet. Those one time decorations were a selling feature for us to buy the Deluxe account. Now stolen and irreplaceable…..
The eve follows you, man.
Yet I think in this game it will be fixed, as this is a candy-land, not harsh universe.
I really hope you guys get your guild back, what happened should never have ever happened, and is gross to say the least.
classic takeover
may i know the person name? u know, juz incase he join my guild u can pm me :|

Considering there has been talk of guild selling already, it’s not too surprising that there can be guild stealing. With the expack, a fully updated guild is a valuable piece of property that cost a ton of gold and mats to make. Even a basic, bare bones guild with 3 vaults, a guild hall and a couple of tents is now worth more than before. Anyone who can steal a full guild and keep it has just won the Guild Wars 2 lottery. ANet should look into situations like this. It’s way more than guild politics now.
ANet may give it to you.
Wonder how many times GOON is gonna get sold.
