Guild Wars 2

Is it just me, or is it just terrible?

Don’t get me wrong GW2 is (Excuse my language) F***ing Amazing, but when I saw the trailer I thought to myself “When people who are deciding to get this game see this… they are going to start making more options for MMO’s”

For people who loves this game as much as I do, do you have the same feeling for this trailer?

I’ve seen this basically from nearly every game review website “Guildwars 2 Thumbs Up” “Launch Trailer…. facepalm”.

I know ArenaNet put a lot of work into this, but all I want to say is HIRE A NEW DIRECTOR! The one who made this was not motivated at all, or literally had no idea what GW2 was about until the very end.

Seriously, I thought I was watching an advertisement of the perfect world

Again sorry for all the criticism/hate for Launch Trailer. Love your game, didn’t fall in love with your trailer.

PS : Please make a new one

I agree with making a new trailer One that is actually consistent with the amazing product image that Guild Wars 2 has.

It’s bad

Looks like an ad for spray paint cans, that they tacked Guild Wars 2 onto at the end, to save money

I had the same thought as he, that was not a very good add to show of a product lol

I have to agree – I don’t think it was very successful. On the other hand, we’ve already bought the game, so maybe it was targeted at a different group of folks.

Out of curiosity, how did y’all get interested in Guild Wars 2? I played the original Guild Wars, and I follow a lot of the gaming news sites, so it didn’t really take much to convince me to pre-purchase.

I watched the add and it immediately reminded me of those makeup advertisments etc that has nothing to do with the product… except for the end.

I agree that the trailer did not portray Guild Wars 2 effectively. Do you guys remember the “Get Ready” trailer from June? I think a trailer with that kind of theme and pacing would be better.
