Guild Wars 2

I’ve bought Guild Wars 2 last few hours , I’ve played the first Guild Wars and I did like it and I do like this one a lot
But I’ve selected the Gunnars Hold world and the game says that it’s populated but while I’m in the world I find no one playing other than me?
Any ideas?

Gunnars was an amazing place to get to in GW1

Low level zones are deserted. There’s literally no reason to go there more than once per character.

It’s because low levels suck and there’s an event people are all caught up in.
