Gw2 Drops- Tokens or Drops. Sell or no?
Most of the community is already annoyed enough with RNG and my guess is most people wouldn’t want more of it.
I also remember the devs saying they did this in Guild Wars 1, and they didn’t want people farming 1 specific boss for a drop, which is why they changed it.

1. One piece of gear dropping from a boss invites unneeded anger and competition, plus there’s a chance that a certain unlucky someone would never get a full set that they need. This has happened in pretty much all the games that use drops in dungeons for gear.
2. If I worked hard to get my full Arah set, why should someone be allowed to wear it without even running the dungeon once?
I think the token system is much better then the RNG system of past MMOs but it could always use improvements.
I wish you could convert tokens from one type of dungeon currency to another only IF you’ve done all the paths of that dungeon already (to prevent someone from getting arah armor and never going there) perhaps with some dimishing returns like only getting half the amount converting. Also in general I wish currencies could be converted to each other better, right now it feels like you have to repeat the same content over and over again to get something rather than trying out all the content in the game.
