Gw2 Iron man??
go for it and good luck.
And what exactly is your question or discussion?
Yeah… your post makes no sense. What’s the context?
I haven’t heard about anyone doing it before, nor posting any rules for accomplishing such a task.
Consider yourself a pioneer! Good luck.
Iron man is a leveling challenge of sorts from WoW with set rules. add that to the post above and read on……
And what exactly is your question or discussion?
The questions are in the original post… look for the “?” icons.

Do you know what rule they used if any
So all this was just to blatantly self promote your twitch channel? If you wanna make good money, play lol, get to at least diamond, challenger is best tho, and be entertaining.
There’s already someone that did something even harder. He leveled to 80 without killing ANYTHING.
I already made to lvl 80 w/o dying on a character and with no crafting either, just map exploration (no champ train either).
I really loved the Iron man from WoW.I will definitely try it here too.Good that you started it

Not sure. only that it had to be a new character.
Don’t know what the other rules were.

i think there was one already, and it was harsher
you couldn’t use any weapon except the environmental bundles of the map ( crowbar, shovel, stick , etc)
This game has a lot of bugs, so gl if you get stuck and can’t port. :P
And here’s why no on cares:
I did all those things to get my 3rd 80 leveled up.
Don’t believe me? NO ONE can prove otherwise.
If the game doesn’t provide absolute verification, its all chest-thumping bullcrap.
This is why the Liadri fight/miniature works. There is no doubt, no alternative, no short cut, no exploit. If you have one, you can make the claim you beat her and no one will question it.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

wow…no traits or utilities? only blue/green level loot and nothing higher? it honestly sounds undo-able, though I may be wrong. GL though
I took part in the WoW Ironman challenge (EU) when it was popular and i have started to try something similar in GW2. However as the games are different I have decided on a different set of rules as it wasn’t anything vaguely official.
1: No partying up. Due to GW2 system where anyone can join in an event it makes it very difficult to entirely solo the game, what would you do if some one came and gave you a hand when you were killing something. So I accept that I will get help but I won’t join unofficial parties such as the champ train but if I come across an event I will join in.
2: I don’t have to finish a map before moving on, but as well as reaching level 80 with out dieing but I won’t class the challenge as finished until I have world completion.
3: I use any class I want to try it with, so far the best seems to be, unsurprisingly, Ranger.
4: I can use any heal that the class has access to once I have the skill points for it.
5 & 6: Traits and utilities can be chosen as normal
7: I only use bags, weapons and armor I pick up as loot, I allow myself to buy gathering tools and salvage kits for karma or gold. I can sell items on the TP but not buy anything from it.
8: I allow WP to be used, after all you have to run to them to find them originally and as I can only play my Ironman characters every now and then it is easier to leave them in a city and then WP out to where I want to start out from.
9: No buffs except what your class can do itself, so no guild buffs, no food etc.
10: As I mentioned earlier I do allow myself to gather nodes as I go along, as the nodes are out in the open world you are still in danger of being attacked so I don’t see it as free XP. I don’t craft with any of my characters as not only do I see that as easy XP it would also give me equipment I would be tempted to use.
11: Dead is all over and time to generate a new character. The downed state gave me a bit of a pause for thought and I have decided that as long as it doesn’t come up with the ‘defeated’ message and wanting me to respawn at a WP then it was acceptable to be downed and for some one to get me back up as long I hadn’t just lane there in the defeated state waiting for someone to come along.
Part of the problem with Ironman on GW2 is that there is no way to prove whether people have done what they have claimed or not unlike on WoW where the armory provide stat information on deaths etc (even do /deaths in chat doesn’t work as the chat carries over from one character to another when you log out and then back in). So for me it is just a personal challenge, I had great fun in WoW doing it and while some people will say it is easy to get to level 80 with out dieing I find it is easy to get distracted and just take on one too many mobs.
As many people in WoW found out, it can be far easier to die than you think, but it did lead to some wonderful posts on the forum.
Yeah… your post makes no sense. What’s the context?
It is challenge.
