Gw2 in 3d nvidia surround/eyefinity
Yes, it was fixed. I’m playing GW2 in 3D using Tridef3D and a polarized screen + glasses (like you have in cinemas). Shadows are still a bit buggy in ultra definition, but putting the quality to high works fine.
On that note: Please ANet, give Tridef3D users the possibility to activate 3-D-Rendering too. I want the 3D map and in-depth character names!
havent played in 3d in a while so I dont know if any recent patch broke anything all I can tell you is when I played a while ago it was an amazing experience.
Reason being Anet actually fixed a lot of issue generally games have with stereoscopic.
Things like mob names. In other games they’re generally 2d elements which in 3d would render on top of everything else, in Gw2 these are rendered at characters depth. Even the mouse cursor (which again generally is rendered on a 2d plan) is rendered in 3d at the depth of the terrain thats under it.
3d is really top notch .. would be a bummer if a patch broke it.

The problem is that those features are only available if you activate 3-D-Rendering, which is only available for NVidia users. Why don’t they allow AMD users to use those features too?
And the thing that was actually broken for about half a year was shadows and ground fx. Every ground-targeted effect was out of depth. I’m really glad that they fixed that.
