Gw2 support live chat implementation
At 2000 to 10,000 tickets per day, they would likely need to hire a lot of new CS Team members to provide Live Chat for each. Likely, there is not enough in the Support budget to do so.
The Devs have previously stated that they tried Live Support before, and their current method works better.
- Skipper: Kowalsky ! Analysis !
- Kowalsky: Assuming they have to review 10.000 tickets per day, and that they respond 24h/24, that’s 8 point 64 seconds per customer for one CS, a little less than 3 minutes per client if they are 20 !
- Skipper: Hey that means we should get 10 times more fish than what they give us for this job !
- Kowalsky: Affirmative !

From what I, and some of a my friends, have seen the support is pretty quick anyways. On multiple occurrences CS has replied within 5 mins, the longest being an hour. With some well worded, and funny responses.
Imo, while it may be a good thing to have, I don’t think it’s really needed.
