Dread to think how many Trick or Treat bag stacks I’ve opened in GW2 and still no Gwynefrydd, so much debt. ;_;

I think I’m closer to maxing my Luck bar than I am of ever getting one… Does anyone know the stat’s for the actual drop rate of this mini? or it it just an impossible dream?

So, either quit buying bags (and save your clicking finger some pain), or continue to embrace your gambling habit.

It’s not impossible, just very very VERY hard.

Going by the number of Hallowe’en finishers I have, I estimate that it took me 310K+ ToTs to finally get my Mini Gwyn. This was about 2 weeks after a friend who estimates way more than that got his.

So I can confirm they are still coming out of ToTs. You just have to be uber dedicated to it.

Wachoo talking about OP, I bought 4 stacks to pump luck abit for my alt account and got it on my 2nd stack!

Search Rebdulls on YT; I did a vid on 50k ToT bags.. Got it at around 8k bags from what I remember.

But I will agree that the drop rate is absurd.. Especially hearing people opening like DOUBLE what I’ve done and more. Sheesh.

I must have been extremely lucky since I got one from just a couple stacks.

Not the first ToT bag, but definitely within my first 1-2 stacks from normal play in the Labyrinth.

If it was not account bound I would have sold it (for a prince’s ransom, of course). Since it is account bound, I have it equipped on most of my characters just because it is super rare.

I’ve never understood why ANet offers account bound items with extraordinarily low drop rates.

• If it’s very unusual, it should be tradeable, like Queen Bee and Poly-lumi.
• If it’s common, it should be account bound and usable in the mystic forge (so that you never feel the only alternative is deleting a drop).
• A few things should be skill-based, besides Liadri.

I was curious after seeing this thread, so I purchased a 1000.

Didn’t get the drop, but I did complete the set (collection) and got the reward mini.

Gave up on this one a long time ago. I got the cat early on during Halloween so that was something. The other drops such as the necklaces that came out of those bags I got none… I farmed like heck during the whole event and have no clue how many bags I opened but finally gave up from exhaustion. I feel for those who want completion because this RNG will never get you there…

Almost 600k bags in, finally. I hope I never have to see another ToT bag, again…

It’s not 500g (before calculating income from bags)… It is way more.

You make back about 70-80%, on average, though. But even with that, I think I wasted about 4000g.

What I love about gwynefrydd, is that you can “Promote” him into a candy corn cob at mystic forge x) .

One could think that the drop rates are high enough to you earn it often, so you can dispatch the extras.
