HA! I stumbled upon a way to wear town clothes underwater! (See picture).
The main advantage is for role-players. You can swim around in your “bathing suit” and you will immediately revert to full armor / weapons if attacked. MUCH better than physically removing your armor a piece at a time into your Inventory and then taking a beating should you accidentally aggro.
Question: should I divulge my trick? I think there are many in the community who would enjoy this. But I am afraid it would get nerfed for no particularly good reason (even though it is no different than running around in Town Clothes on land).
Or can a Moderator confirm it would be okay? (I remember “skating” in Marhan’s Grotto in GW1… absolutely ZERO reason to kill the “glitch”, which was a cool RP stunt.)

The beach still does that. You can do my little trick anyplace. And as you can see from the pictures, only one is totally out of clothing and in my “swimsuit”. You can actually wear your town clothes if you can think of a reason why you’d want to.
