Crafting the pre Colossus and one requirement is a 10 second fall,

Hint: Coat yourself with your Mystic Chromatic Ooze and fall for 10 seconds without touching the ground.

It appears in must be Tyria place and running out of ideas, any help would be appreciated especially from someone who has done it.

Maybe Rata Sum? You can leap out a window there to the ground below. The hard part is the ledges underneath. You’ll usually hit them and and die. I guess if you have a revive orb you can revive and jump from there or get on a ledge then jump.

I haven’t jumped from Rata Sum since launch. Can you jump down to a ledge under a window then get to the edge of the ledge and then jump off?

The volcano in mount malestorm might be close, try jumping from where the vista is.

There is also that jumping puzzle in metrica that takes place in the air above the zone, not sure if that would work.

Not sure if this counts, but since its called “colossus Fall” – have you tried jumping from top if the colossus in the Fractal?

I can think of two possible places other than Rata Sum though I haven’t timed them: The Not So Secret dive, and the end of the teleporter path in COE which flings you high in the air over the water of Mount Maelstrom (go up on the platform after you kill Alpha, don’t just exit the instance).

Dive spot at the end of the SW jp or Secret garden Dive spots in Mount maelstrom.

Have you tried jumping from the canopy in VB all the way down to the very bottom level?

So it was off of Rata Sum. Just have to pick the right window.

I am pretty sure you can do it from Silverwastes dive spot as well, perhaps even lower than that. It is a grantee of 17 seconds free fall.

That’s possibly not considered part of core Tyria but part of the new area. That area is named the Maguuma Wastes, as seen on the dailies description.

I think their definition of what’s Tyria and what’s Maguuma Wastes is pretty loose at the moment unless Anet fixed some stuff. According to the acessory Drake Scale tooltip, it is supposed to be found in Central Tyria only, however I got it as drop in Dry Top.

In anyway, I am not working in any legendary, but I would test the spot if was the case for science.

certain parts of oolas lab will send you back to earth for a long fall as well.

path 4 of arah up on the ships let you fall a long ways too.

aetherblade jump puzzle goggle dive is another

Jump off the floating ship in gendaren fields

just a few ideas there.

Not too sure about that as Tyria Masteries such as Pact Commander can be leveled in Silverwastes.
