So maybe it is me or my bad server choices? Been here since beta and after my six month leave my server that I had played on"Tarnished Coast" is really either full of arrogant rpg’ers(which I love rpg) or complete kitten ’s. And if you do not rp then they ignore you! And on the other hand the rest just seem like they are 10 year old ’s or so it seems?

So I deleted all of my characters and am looking for a server that enjoys rpg, fun and of course the feeling of community without the constant drama or do I just bow out and not play(hence the drama……get it)

I thought it was just me that the community on Tarnished Coast seemed a bit toxic. Went there From Blackgate because I didn’t want to be around any pvpers/elitists. I’ve always liked Darkhaven but the server seems so dead whenever I guest to it.

I thought TC was supposed to be the friendliest server out there?

I know TC is getting (a lot) of transfers for WvW. Perhaps the newest folks have not yet embraced the culture there?

Sorry to hear the experience was so bad you ended up deleting your characters. Ouch.

TC was the “unofficial RP” server for GW2. Not sure if other servers out there have a large enough RP community to make a go of it.

Blackgate, like many other servers, is generally friendly and helpful. It has a great community. However: being a T1 WvW server, we also get a lot of constant transfers.

There is going to be some on-going fluctuations on the servers with WvW transfers happening over the next couple of weeks (Season 2 or “Tournament” starts at the end of March and players are jockeying around at the moment.)

So take all of that into consideration.

Maybe roll low level alts and guest and check out how servers deal with “newbies”.
