I need my Clock Tower Fix and maze.. one of my favorite events in game and irl. I really hope they don’t drop it or Wintesday for that matter.

Yeah… that’s kinda what I thought when I heard that SAB didn’t ‘fit easily into the narrative structure’… it’s not supposed to. It’s more like Halloween and Wintersday. And there’s a nice gap in the festival events around April if you want to schedule Living Story around it…

It would take more development time than most festival events, though – perhaps that’s where the line is drawn.

SAB is an April Fools’ Day content, and be glad Anet gave you SAB in september once. Seasonal events won’t be cut, but in GW1 every April 1st was different and pretty great, it would be a shame to have the same thing every year, so I’m glad SAB didn’t return. The SAB weapons don’t fit the game anyways.

I have to ask, is Halloween going to be EXACTLY the same as last year because I remember reading that it said ‘blood and madness is returning’ or something similar. Personally I would be ok with that because i liked the content, but I would welcome a slight change at least.

Halloween was confirmed to be returning a day or so ago so……..I’m not sure why there is any doubt about it.
