As the topic states, is it possible to get APs from the halloween dailies if you are already at the daily AP cap. I have been getting conflicting answers on this matter and it seems I am somtimes getting points added to my AP total and other times I am not.

Just tested it. Your Halloween dailies do indeed count to your 10,000 daily points. I went from 8001 to 8002 by doing the costume brawl.

The reason you may be getting AP points sometimes, and sometimes not, is that there seems to be a bug with Halloween Achievement Points. A fix was released with the latest patch, but according to some posters, it has not entirely addressed the issue.

As for whether you can obtain APs from Halloween after reaching your cap, I do not know. If you say you have, periodically, then I suppose you can. /shrug

Maledictus (a achievement enthousiast), told me he gets nothing from halloween dailies. They are the same as normal dailies. Just bonus dailies on top of normal ones for easier meta halloween achievement, and more fun.

I can also confirm that they do count toward the cap.
I got some of the Halloween ones before hitting 10k and am still capped at an even 10k.

Can still complete dailies, I just don’t go above 10k daily points anymore.

I just hit 10000 total last night, but not in any one category, I still have a long way to go to get 10000 daily cap. I’m more likely to hit 30000 AP through everything else.

Well, fyi, there is a Monthly AP cap, as well. 10,000 for Daily, 5,000 for Monthly.
