I have had the recipe for the Gift of Souls since halloween last year, and I finally finished farming 100 Crystal Lodestones to make The Crossing, and yesterday I was running CoE to get the other gift needed. I was 57 tokens short, and decided to wait till the next day to get the bonus and finally craft it. Today I see in the patch notes “The Mystic Forge recipes for The Mad Moon, Arachnophobia, and The Crossing have been temporarily disabled. They will be updated and return at Halloween.”

So now I have to wait till halloween again to get it. How will it be updated I ask? Will it be buyable/lootable again, dropping the price on the TP, making it cheaper than crafting it? Or will it become more expensive, with a completely different recipe? Only time will tell.

Is there an explanation on what is happening to these items? Because I would really like to finish crafting it.

I’d like to know this as well. I’m working towards crafting the Crossing for my necro, and it would suck having the materials in the recipe replaced.

I noticed this too, my only guess is that they are adding some shinies to the skins, updating the stat set since they had Magic Find, and who knows what else.

I saved all year for arachnophobia. I finally have all the lodestones I need and I was just starting to work on the ascalonian tears. I also want to know how are they are going to change the recipe. Im invested in this weapon at this point. The only thing they could do that would be cool, is keep the craftin recipe close to the same. This is like suddenly changing the recipe to craft a legendary weapon. I know since its a halloween weapon not as many will be affected but wow, it will really suck if they change the recipe by a wide margin.
