Halloween:Remember what you told us last year
Unfortunately, if they forgot (or otherwise couldn’t make it work), it’s probably too little lead time now to change direction for this year Ideally, it’s just a matter of flagging the Labyrinth as part of Core Tyria and testing that doesn’t break anything. (More likely, it’s rocket science.)
It’s not like its hard to Get XP in core. Just do a bit of map completion, get it in no time.

That isn’t the point.

True, but it’s there for you if you need it. It would still be nice if they did give mastery experience though.

Yes , it mean spirit shards for existing player with max masteries , Nice Xp for the New Players and for many of you with severals Alts accounts.
Just a waste for those of us who do not need more central tyria xp. Ok, I only bothered to chase down enough MPs to train up pact commander because I did not care about the other 2 lines so until they give us more lines to fill …
The issue the OP is asking about is also one on my mind as well. Last Halloween wasn’t the only time a recurring festival had what many saw to be a major bug but are told it’s too late or too dangerous to fix it mid festival and it’ll be addressed for the next festival. We simply want ANet to follow through rather than the feeling some of us get that a statement like that was issued just to placate the masses with the issue promptly forgotten.
How many bugs remain in existing content only for ANet to sound surprised if there’s a concerted effort to inform them. In the last AMA they seemed surprised to hear that there are bugs in the last raid wing. It only takes someone to watch a streamed Raid to see the frustration players are having. And it just gets to a point where reporting doesn’t seem to go anywhere. As a software developer I can understand the difficulty in reproducing a bug in something as dynamic as a Raid but to declare Raids are bug free is simply sticking their head in the sand.
RIP City of Heroes
probably they fix it this year.
one thing that i was thinking the past months is: why don’t they let us use the glider in King Thorn’s dungeon? spread the islands a little (not that much leaving more platforms between them, because f2p or not HoT Players don’t have the glider), place in there some ley lines (just shortcuts because not all have the masteries) and add a corn-bomb phase ^^ (throwing corns to the Mad King to break his i-don’t-know shield)
positive: new contents for new achievments
negative: rip fast-farm

They should just make holiday masteries and have the exp go towards that.
