I could not find this issue addressed in the forums, and I do apologize if this has already been answered. Is there a way to remove a boost that my character received from the Halloween event? My character still has green skin and a green effect on her armor. I would be happy to give up the stats associated with this boost. I know this is just an aesthetic thing, but I really want it to go away. Thanks for any help!

If it’s a green overlay, it’s caused by the jewel from Oontz’s necklace, so you’ll need to remove that.

If it’s a green glow, it’s from an infusion.

Or do you mean the glow after being rezzed (or rezzing someone) with the Halloween food in effect?

Those tint should disappear once the buff expires. Can’t recall how long, but I don’t think it’s very long. The food itself only lasts 30 mins, or you can over-write it by eating some other food.

Thanks so much! I forgot about the necklace. It’s kind of a permanent green glow but I’m pretty sure it’s from the necklace.

Yep.. it was the necklace. Doh! I can’t believe I wasted a makeover kit trying to get rid of being green and didn’t look at my equipment. Thanks again for the brain poke

Depending on how long ago you used the makeover kit, you might be able to contact support to see if they can help you out with replacing it. If you didn’t change your character’s appearance much and it was pretty recent, they might be understanding to your plight.

Of course, if you’re sitting on a small stack of total makeover kits, they probably will be less inclined to assist.

Maybe worth asking, though! They’ve always been pretty understanding when I’ve needed help. Good luck
