In Grand Barrier Isle(Bloodtide Coast) is farm going on that give same numbers of trick or treat bags as the Labyrinth during the Halloween event it self,just worry when next Halloween happens it will be meaning less event as you can farm treat bags all year now…

Bloodtide Coast is a terrible spot for this, if it’s the location I’m thinking of. You really want to do this where there is no nearby heart for people to do. Farmers screaming at people for killing creatures to get their heart done is just completely pathetic.

Maize balm is a great way to make money. even with the slightly increased costs, you can still double your investment very quickly. There are plenty of spots to farm, and no heart requires killing only ambients so don’t listen to anyone who says you are preventing heart completion or some such nonsense.
The only real problem with that spot is that the ambients are also used for a heart, which means ToT farmers come into conflict with people trying to complete the map.

Can you name one of two of those places? Because the only other place I know of it Queensdale (near the Shadow Behemoth area) but the ambient creatures there don’t spawn nearly as fast as in Bloodtide Coast.
People are buying the consumable maize balm and using it to turn ambient creatures into candy corn elementals. Those drop Trick-or-Treat bags outside of the halloween event and thus make it possible to loot stuff that isn’t otherwise obtainable in the game anymore.
Problem is that some farmers get mad as hell when random people tag the elementals and get loot without “properly” participating, or kill ambient creatures while playing normaly before they can be turned into elementals, “depriving” the farmers of loot.
So it’s fun and games for everyone. Or something.
Also, OP’s problem is apparently that they are worried the price for Trick-or-Treat bags will stagnate or fall if they are available all year instead of just during halloween season. Not that I care, but if one stockpiled those bags and planned to sell them, this might disrupt their plan a bit.

There is a item called Maize balm,it will give you 10+ Trick and tread bags and from those bags you get another Maize balm so Halloween farm is never over.
If Anet dont nerf this next Hallowing event will suck big time do to mass inflation of 1year farm of Trick and treat bags.
I’m pretty sure the influx of ToT bags is balanced by people still trying to get the mini Gwynefyrdd and other super-rare items from the bags. That mini (which is account bound and not obtainable any other way) has an estimated drop rate of 1 in 20,000!
The black refractor currently sells for over 800 gold, and even the relatively common mini Zuzu is going for about 15g.
It’s only really the extremely common drops that are relatively useless outside Halloween that are suffering. Mainly the crafting materials (except candy corn) and the foods which aren’t that useful anyway.

The problem always has been “Farmers screaming at people” not that " ambients are more concentrated in that area and spawn faster than usual because they are one of the objectives for doing that heart". Heart is working as intended, people’s bad attitude isn’t. This no different from all the farming nerfs and death of the 55 Monk (RIP) in GW1. Anet always gives us things with good intentions in mind; however the bad apples always ruin a good thing for everyone in someway.
So Congrats on getting another good weapons kill farm spot nerfed!!!

ToT farmers are the worst. I play a lot of PvP and the rare times I step into PvE is for some casual fun. I’m doing my map exploration and I see these three guys using a bunch of potions to transform ambient creatures into candy elementals, and candid as I am I think they are just having fun and I start slaying them with them… BAD IDEA! These guys were more mad than the most raging pewpew ranger nerd in the most ill-frequented hotjoin server. I learned my lesson: instablock these guys as soon as I can select them.

Are most of them really that bad? I imagine i could just find a less populated server if i wanted to try this right? I didn’t get to experience the halloween stuff and might want to try this for a small period of time, but i imagine it would be boring after a while

The heart quest does in fact progress with the killing of the ambient rats and crows as does the “Indiscriminate Slayer” Achievement. That spot has always been good for players to get the 1000 ambient kills out the way.. so farmer whines will continue to echo out whenever they feel others have trespassed on land they like to claim for themselves.
99% of the time the farmers still get their ToT bag anyway, just that others get them as well at the same time.. is it really that big a problem.
Maize Balm should be reworked to work only in instances, that or it should be made clear to players that if they pop a balm on an open area, the creatures will be free for all to kill. Like changing the maize balm item description.

Maize balm farms work just as well in more remote areas, but people hear that Bloodtide Coast is the way to go and don’t even try to find a more appropriate venue.
For instance, I’ve seen these farms done up in the skill point area in Wayfarer Foothills where Issormir’s corpse is. No hearts around and the respawn rate on all those ambient birds is very good.
