They brought back a bunch of halloween item last year. So I presume Anet will bring some old item back, and maybe add a few new item.
The post on the main GW2 page about Halloween items in the BLTC flat-out says that more returning stuff AND new stuff will be coming later.

One can only hope they bring back the Chainsaw Greatsword, it’s criminal that thing costs as much as a legendary; I wouldn’t be surprised if no ones bought one of those things at that price in years.

you’d be wrong, those of us who want the skin DID hardcore grind for months to buy it.
those of you who kinda-sorta want it but CBA working for it should’nt get it.
if you want it its right there, still very much obtainable, if you want it.
right now i’d say its amongst the rarest weapons in the game, far rarer than legendaries,
you go to a city and you’ll see 12 guys with Eternity, you’ll very rarely see Greatsaws,
if you want to join the very exclusive club then you should have to grind your butt off like we did.
that being said i think Anet are going to make the most “full kitten” decision in their career and reintroduce them after the 3 years of becoming a legendary status item…

So I was wondering if anyone knew if they’d be releasing any more Halloween costumes/items or what not besides the lich outfit this year. Relatively new to the game but was hoping for a big to do with Halloween like in a lot of other mmo’s.

We know that some of you may have pondered a bit about Halloween this year, wondering if we were brewing up anything in relation to a celebration. Fear not! Our haunty, headless hero and his band of creepy cohorts will be stopping by Lion’s Arch, to give plenty of chills and thrills (and potential rewards) to new players and old.
Now, you may have noticed that some Halloween-ish items already are appearing in the In-Game Store. You should know that more items that will be rolling out over the next few weeks, and they will include several popular items of the past and a couple of splendiferous somethings that are brand new this year!
Make no bones about it, this will be a festival sure to please. Keep your eye on our website for more information in a few weeks. Then, get ready to costume up and join in the spirit of the occasion!

What value? I tried TPing my devil horns and witch hat (they were unlocked anyway) but shrugged and went “meh”.
I like the horns, they look authentic enough and don’t interfere with a hairstyle.
Hoping for a new scythe because I know I’ll never have even close to 3k gold. x.x
