So, they announced that Halloween comes out the same day as HoT. Are you all going to be doing the Halloween events? I don’t see many doing that to HoT. Same stuff as the last two years you think?

Lol seriously. The amount of magic find that I boosted from that event alone is unreal. I won’t complain if it’s the same stuff. More luck for me!

If there’ll be a clocktower again this year, I’m so going to beat it this time Also, my poor laptop probably wouldn’t be able to run the game on Maguuma maps at HoT release, too many people…

Whoops, I’m listening to that chat but not intently focusing. I didn’t hear that comment, just a lot of “here’s the cool stuff for returning players.” Though I did take a bio break during the clock tower discussion, was it there?

I’m going to be doing the Halloween events for as long as they’re out. The events relating to it only comes around once a year, while HoT events will be around forever.

Not unexpected tbh, makes sense to bundle everything into one patch. It also has the advantage of slightly spreading the community out a little.

Why would they do that? We have weeks of nothing that could have been filled by the Haloween event. Now players have to choose between it and HoT. I’ll be playing Halloween every day, not HoT.

Yeah….. I meant the weeks ahead. It will be October soon. Perhaps they could have started it on the 1st or the 15th, something like that.

I will be doing the Halloween events.
I’m in no rush to play HoT. Unlike Halloween events, it will still be there in November.

I will create my Revenant, bring her up to L80, equip her, then play the Halloween events with her. When Halloween is over, she’ll start playing the expansion.

I usually don’t play on launch days. This gives me a reason to play on launch day.

I was thinking of that. One easy way to play her and get used to all the skills before I try the level 80 maps.

I definitely won’t ignore Halloween completely, but I think it’ll be getting a lot less attention from me this year with HoT.
