It’s been 3 month full of excitement and almost as much as upheaval lol, but I guess that is to be expected from a new game.
This is my first game where I’ve played since beta, all others were out for a few years when I joined. I must say it has been an interesting journey, but I would love to see more story content and hopefully new expansions to follow. I realize this may takes time, but with 5 characters at lvl 80 and not much interest in dungeons or pvp I’m eagerly awaiting some new stuff to do and maps to explore.
Perhaps the leveling is a bit too fast? I didn’t really rush it too much but focusing on 1 character and following my PS, I got to lvl 80 within 2 weeks of release. In other games, it has taken me months to reach max lvl with a similar amount of hours played.
I think there were too many hungry wolves (including myself lol) starved for something new and they devourered gw2 content with a gusto like I’ve never seen before. If you read lots of posts, lot of player say, I’ve been playing so and so game for 7 years etc and yea very starved for something new and perhaps it should have been stretched out a bit more, at least till more content is ready for release?
What do you think?
In any case, keep up the good work, well done Anet!

Ill give this a thumbs up
Sure theres been issues, but the game is in its infancy and has so much potential. Ive thoroughly enjoyed playing the game and really looking forward most of all to seeing how the world evolves, with the Dragons and hopefully Cantha and Elona in the future.

My only regret is levelling too fast, but its been a long time sonce i found an mmo whete i wanted to make multiple alts!

Heres to a successful future!

Yeah. There are somethings I’m disappointed in, there are obviously some major issues, but there are also a lot of really fun moments and things I’m enjoying or looking forward to.

Best. MMO. Ever. Thank you, Anet.

(Although I really truly despise aspects of your cash shop; as I’m sure most players do. I will never buy anything that is a gamble, like Black Lion Keys, Consortium Chests, Mini Packs, etc. But I’ll gladly throw money at you if you offer me compelling things to buy. I already have thrown a lot of money at you for truly useful things such as BL Salvage kits, Transmutation Stones, extra inventory slots, extra bank slots, etc. How about you sell me a permanent Black Lion Trader outright? I’d pay for that. And so on.

Truly, your visionary in charge of the cash shop is IMO doing your more harm than good. I know pricing science is tricksy stuff—I work in pricing science—but really some of the cash shop stuff seems penny wise and pound foolish. And greedy. Are you running segmentation models to understand your segments’ buying behavior? More importantly, is some person other than the one in charge of the Cash Shop running those analyses? Who watches the watcher here?)
