Despite a lot of hate on these forums and Reddit, I think this was the best year of Guild Wars 2 since launch. While there are obviously things that can be improved and worked on, the future of Guild Wars 2 is looking extremely bright. Great job Anet!

In theory, there should have been an official announcement or offer, I was faster even than Anet.

Yes, indeed, today is one year since HoT release. I find it a bit weird that Anet did not announce it by some great promotion (such as 50% off for HoT, 20% off in gems, or historical items in Gem Store). Anyway, it’s good that you guys noticed it.
