Hardest jumping puzzle
Mad King’s Clocktower is definitely the “hardest” JP, in my opinion. Winter Wonderland has its difficulties, but it was always more forgiving than the Clocktower ever was. After those, it’s the Not So Secret one; that one took me so long to master.
That one in malchors with the orbs is pretty tricky. Well, watching a guildie rage for 4 hours made it seem so.
I have never made the southson one with the jets. That is insane to me.
I never bothered with clocktower or wonderland. I rarely enjoy jps in GW2, so i find it saner to leave them to the experts
In my opinion, Trolls revenge in LA is by far the hardest. Scavengers chasm is pretty annoying too. I find mad king’s clock tower and winter wonderland extremely easy however and am able to do them on almost all of my attempts. To me, the only real difficulty to them is the time pressure, troll’s revenge-and some other jumping puzzles- on the other hand, I can take forever to manage to complete.

The clocktower is fairly hard but that’s only because of the time factor. I’d say that Skipping Stones is the one that caused me the most issues.

Clock tower wasn’t so bad, nor was wonderland.
However for some reason I can never do the aether ship one with the spinning gears and aether ship. Dunno why…
Hardest jumping puzzle?? It depends a lot on what you find hard yourself and the circumstances. I’m pretty good in them as long as I can take my time. As soon as it is timed things then I’m lost.
But doing obsidian sanctum facing 100 world invaders all on your own seems to be the most daunting one
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
Scavenger’s Chasm in Malchor’s Leap is a difficult one the first time you try it assuming you avoid using a guide. While others have some more difficult to land jumps, they are also fairly straight forward in figuring out where you need to go and not really much of a puzzle.
Festive one is the mad kings clock tower. That one is just pure rage inducing. The New one in LA, trolls revenge? That one is also rage inducing. It’s forgiving in some places, but in others it’s just, no words. I’m just glad I never have to do it again.

You can cheese Scavengers Chasm if you’re having difficulty- collect as many orbs as you can then park until reset. Repeat until you have 12.
Hardest for me so far was Trolls Revenge, by far. Some of them are trivial though, so I guess it balances out…
Currently the LA one is the hardest because some jumps are really easy to miss due to unforseen glitching, or getting stuck. All the other puzzles i’m able to rush, winter wonderland and clocktower included, but this one in LA is hard to do because you get so much glitching.
None..have a Mesmer do it for you.
Either the Aetherblade Site 2 in Gendarran Fields, or Troll’s Revenge in Lion’s Arch.
Both the Mad King’s Tower and Winter Wonderland feel easy to me – their sole difficulty comes in the fast paced nature of them. But the other two manage to be frustrating (hair-pulling even for the Aetherblade one) without the rushing notion… imagine if they were rushed? Ugh.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
The Aetherblade puzzle (Not So Secret?) in Gendarran is the hardest for me. I can do all the rest no problem, even the LA one (after sufficient practice).
I think the problem with the Aetherblade puzzle is that it is very unforgiving. The LA puzzle is as long or longer, but it has lots of nets and places to get back up if you put a foot wrong. In the Aetherblade puzzle, one misstep and you’re done. And getting back to where you were is such a lengthy business that it discouraged me from the repeated attempts I need in order to improve.
The Clock Tower is cake by comparison to me because it’s spammable. Think of it as piano practice.

Troll’s revenge is just unforgiving. There are so many opportunities to fail, and it doesn’t matter that most are very easy jumps, you just have to miss one and you’re restarting from the very beginning. Statistically, you have a very low chance of successfully making it to the end, much lower than any other puzzle (i’d guess)
It took me the longest time to even figure out the route for the aetherblade one but once you know exactly where you actually have to go, i don’t think it’s so hard.
I’d say the hardest jumping puzzle is actually not a proper one… and is actually two. specifically, those two lost golden badges in drydock scratch.
Oh god, I didn’t even think about those lost golden badges. That one off the side of the ship…Ugh! Awful.
In terms of the puzzle itself, for me it’d have to be he Aetherblade one. I don’t know if it’s because I did it at under max level (and thus didn’t have great gear and was fairly new to the combat system), but I died almost as much on the enemies as I did on missed jumps.
In terms of getting to the puzzle, definitely emerald/garnet/sapphire sanctums. The puzzles themselves are very easy, but I’m not a WvWer and don’t particularly enjoy having to get unexpectedly ganked by enemy players on the way, or worrying about getting killed by enemy players in the puzzle itself. And since they’re all identical, having to do it three times was just obnoxious.
Obsidian sanctum was probably my favorite JP, though (it did help that I didn’t see any other players the entire time I was there, though). Was absolutely beautiful and really had me wondering about the lore and history of the place.
Personally I loved the Mad King’s Clocktower. The only issue I had was all the fat Charr and Norn bodies covering where I was, but once they fell off it was easy going from there.
The Wintersday JP I found much too easy. It reminded me of Spekk’s Laboratory.
I love Obsidian Sanctum, but I hate that there’s always the possibility of getting ganked. As a “PvE scrub” I don’t WvW, and Obby Sanctum is the only way I can get badges.
Not So Secret can be a little challenging if you’re not careful and don’t have either Portal or Spectral Walk to help.
Troll’s Revenge I’d give the title for the longest, hands-down.
I’d deem any one of these the hardest (except the Wintersday JP). They all have different aspects that I sometimes have issues with, but can usually overcome.
I would say the hardest one is probably Troll’s Revenge if you’re not on a mesmer, or Not So Secret if you are.

from the ones I’ve tried the new one in LA. I haven’t tried them all though
Mad King tower isn’t hard, it is just gimmicky.
Take away the time limit and watch how easy Mad King tower becomes.
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant

Yes, of course it’s not hard if you don’t have a time limit. But its (and Winter Wonderland’s, among a couple of others) gimmick is part of the puzzle and has to be included.
They were all hard until I learned how to use a mesmer portal.
I haven’t done the new one in LA, and Not So Secret was pretty difficult (I never bothered to do it again for the goggles), but the puzzle I had most trouble with was… Spekks’s Laboratory. Because I can jump pretty well, but I can’t jump quickly at all. If there wasn’t another person or two doing it at the same time, and if there wasn’t a ledge in the middle of one of the “segments”, I would never have done it.
winters wonderland… just because other players get you killed

The final stage of World 2 tribulation mode Super Adventure Box. Long and painful; especially the Windy Icespike room. Hardest Jumping Puzzle ever made.
Skipping stones is the hardest jumping puzzle, hands down.
“Hardest” is subjective base on an individual’s preferences, styles, and experience. I’d found that the Winter Wonderland was one of the easiest to perform, however rushed it may be. Mad King’s Clock Tower was also relatively easy; even its first year iteration that had a bunch of players clashing together on the same map.
Hardest in my perspective is a kind of tedium. And the biggest culprit of tediousness is Drydock Scratch. The length of the whole thing, the repetition at the end, the points of complete death to near death to complete death again. A sourly designed jumping puzzle.
I don’t think they’re hard, but Obsidian Sanctum and Drydock Scratch are INFURIATING.
Mad King’s Clocktower is the only one I have been unable to do – I’m god awful at JPs (love them) but it takes A LOT of trial and error and Portals for me to do them xD MKC doesn’t offer me that luxuary (and thats the way I’d like it to stay).
Did they change Troll’s End? Last time I did it was when the game was relatively new, way before the Living Story or anything. Back then, the only hard part I remember was seeing anything with larger character models.

Yes, it’s now a longer JP that crosses a good chunk of the map.
I’d say the Griffin one but only if you try for the bomb to open the chest. Those kitten birds made me RAGE.
I’ve done every puzzle in the game, and none of them caused me more frustration or cursing than Griffin’s Rook, trying to nail the bomb on the chest. That was by far the hardest puzzle for me. Eventually got a group of friends to clear the griffins ahead of me, but they couldn’t get every one and it was still challenging.
LA is challenging if done alone just because the risk of falling. Most of the jumps are easy but the route can be confusing and falling in many places can mean restarting an extremely lengthy puzzle from the beginning. I usually team with another Mesmer on this one so we can portal each other back up if one makes a mistake.
The silverwastes one is the only one that I refused to do without a friend guiding me through all of it because it’s not much of a jumping puzzle but more of a game of memory and guessing.

Agreed. Fortunately the memory side of it is something i’m good at =)
Clocktower
Not So Secret
Skipping Stones
as someone who actually sells jps i can tell you the ones im requested to do the most and that’s the silverwastes lost golden badge run and the atherblade dive spot
while technically not jp’s they are among the hardest jp like content around
ps if your haveing problems trait for fall dmg reduction and make a set of blue/green gear and slot it with snowfall runes they stack with the fall dmg reduction trait and can save you alot of deaths and if your a mezmer you can port back up on fails
Clocktower
Not So Secret
Skipping Stones
Skipping stones was the final straw for me, i unchecked the ‘dodge on double movement key press’ option because of that puzzle.
That said, i re-did it just the other day and it felt… easy.
SAB TM is the hardest and SAB itself is the longest jumping puzzle in the game. There’s really no competition.
Skipping Stones
Troll’s Revenge
Mad King’s Clocktower
The ones with the orbs in Malchor’s Leap
‘would of been’ —> wrong

Same here. I admit I had to have a friend help me get that achievement, I am seriously bad at JPs and even more so under pressure.
Not a JP, but try and get all of the gold coins in SW.
As a SAB TM vet, some of those gold coins straight up kick my you know what. Harder than any JPs in the game.
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….
Yeah, I pretty much gave up on the gold coin up the wire off the side of the ship. I can walk along razor-thin fences in other parts of the game, but that wire just mysteriously doesn’t co-operate. Exactly why someone thought that showing off the glitches in the GW2 engine would make a good premise for a jumping puzzle, I have no idea.

Actually Skipping stones is pretty hard
Clock Tower
I still have the reward boots in my bank. I can’t say I’ll ever user them. The stats don’t work for me. The armor skin isn’t special. But, they’re my kitten shiny achievement trophy.
Sometimes I wonder what I’m doing here…
