Hardware question
I’m guessing you have the 1055T if you wanted to you could overclock it(if your motherboard can overclock) and you could probably get around 3.8ghz depending on on the cpu and mainly the motherboard for the 1055T. What settings are you using? there are some settings you can pretty much turn right off and gain a few fps here and there without a huge hit on how the game looks.
I have a Phenom II 1090T @ 4.1ghz and a 7950 @ 950MHz core and 1350MHz mem and I get about 25-30fps during normal game play and in LA with max settings(including supersample because it does make a difference in small details)

yeah thats what im runnin… but i want to upgrade my pc a little so i might try that… just wanted to know if someone was running the game with something similar to what i want to buy , and was having any issues
Yea no issues that I know of with the 8350 and 7970 you would probably be around the same performance(maybe about 5fps higher) of my current pc if you kept the 8350 and 7970 at stock speeds. However watch out for the latest beta drivers for the 7970 I hear they don’t play nice with GW2 atm so just get the regular drivers.

I’m of the opinion that you’ll be fine if you upgrade only the cpu (and save some money), GW2 is a cpu intensive game and while the gpu helps it isn’t the most important component unlike in other games.
Your 6950 card is good enough for GW2, I’ve played the game at a stable 35-45fps on my old Nvidia GTS250 card which is a far less stronger card than yours.
I would change the cpu only first and see how it performs before spending any further money.
