They take like 25% longer to harvest with

Considering these cost money for a literal downgrade in node harvesting capability I can’t help but feel a little bit ripped off.

Could you at least place a warning on the item description that tells the purchaser?

I’d also like a refund / exchange for a different one that works normally if possible.

I admit I don’t have them myself, but looking at videos they seem like they take the same amount of time as other tools.

The animation might go on longer, but that’s irrelevant. As soon as the materials are in your inventory you can run off.

The first 2 harvest of an ore and lumber node is relatively quick but the final one before the node is considered mined takes a while and you get it after the song has reached it’s climax, sometimes it even bugs out and you have to reharvest.

I have to admit, it does feel slow.

Remember, the consortium sickle is exceptionally quick and once you’ve used one everything else seems to be in slow motion.

It’s the slowest for me. That’s because every time it makes its sound, I have to peel myself off the ceiling, so the delay between one [f] and the next is longer.

I totally agree. I hate the thing and I own two of them.

I wish there was a gathering tools refurbishment or makeover store where you could remake the tools you bought in a moment of madness to one more to your liking.

You could try asking Customer Service (via a support request — link at the top left). They might be willing to do that, if you ask nicely.

Thanks I just may but it won’t be for the silly clown one but the flutes. I played a character with one and it was so much faster than the flutes. I hate it much less.

It takes more like twice as long as normal harvesting. It’s ridonkulous.

Huh, that’s interesting. To me it always feels like the flutes take less time not more. Guess I’ll need to station my toons at same ores and do some time clocking because now I’m curious. Might be just because I like them so much that it feel shorter.

Anywho, yea if you don’t like them you can always ask for a refund/that maybe CS could swap them for a different tool. Doesn’t hurt to ask
