Wiki says farmed from Coral. I have hit 50 Coral nodes with no Manganese Dioxide drop. Vial of Manganese Dioxide is needed for Bifrost precursor crafting.

From what I’ve read that number is pretty typical. RNG being what it is. Here are some sites where coral is located (Coral map locations) to help you in your search.

I used the ones in Mount Maelstrom after a friend mentioned it, both of us have completed The Legend. The picture on the site is a bit off though. Some of the spawns are a bit further west than indicated by those ovals. There should be at least around 4 spawns spread around that area. While swapping through 10 characters it a few hours to gather the vials. You can also go there when Megadestroyer or Golem MkII is about to spawn so you can swap through multiple instances on one character.

Yah. That site is from 2012. However I couldn’t find an updated or better version so posted it as some of the coral locations in case he didn’t know of all the maps where they appear.
