Has the distance view been changed?
that is the graphic culling employed but the game engine, server-side manipulated.
it’s not your computer or your connection.
they keep fiddling with the culling settings and it still doesnt function properly.
It’s actually gotten a lot worse, at least in my opinion.
It’s a terrible problem in WvW. Can happen even in small engagements… invisible enemies are rather hard to fight.
Thanks for the info about culling. I hadn’t realized that was going on server-side. I got bit by that just the other day in WvW. Me and a team mate were contemplating whether we should take on a supply depot populated only with NPC guards. All of a sudden a large group of enemy players “materialized” and were running our way. They were now too close to escape from. I’m pretty sure if we’d seen them at a fair distance away we could have made an escape.
