This game has worked flawlessly on my system for months now, and ever since the last 2 updates I get serious lag and then get booted every few minutes. Anyone know what might be wrong?

I’ve been getting similar in that I’ve been experiencing lag and a lot of random disconnects (ie booted to the character select screen) at first I thought it may have been my ISP but it never occurs to my flatmate (who is often playing a different mmo) so if it was my ISP I would image he’d be booted at the same time. Really not sure what’s going on since it also doesn’t appear to be universal to GW2 (as I would imagine other party members would be dc’d). It’s odd whatever it is.

Let us buy vendor mats (eg spools of thread) in 250 stacks, end the excessive clicking.

Been getting something similar since right after the Tower of Nightmares update. Last week I put my graphics down to the lowest option and I haven’t had a crash. Game related crash anyway since I suspect I have some piece of hardware starting to go senile.

Fire up the Hyperbowl ma, we’re going to town!

Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?

I used to have a problem with another MMO where whenever I entered an instance, the ISP would flag the traffic and throttle it, resulting in lag and eventual disconnection (ISPs are known to throttle connections they detect unknown torrent traffic on, but they won’t admit to it). I had to fix it by changing my IP address every time.
